Ever crewed for a stage rally team?
Now's your chance.
Slapdash Racing is actively seeking volunteer crew for the 2016 New England Forest Rally on July 15 and 16 in Bethel, ME. What do you get for taking a few days of your own vacation time to drive up to a mosquito-infested patch of woods in the dead of summer only to plunge your hands into a scorching hot engine bay?
How about nothing. Yep. Nothing.* We'd love to pay you of course, but if we paid you, we couldn't afford to rally in the first place. How's that for a conundrum!
Seriously though, if you are interested in getting your hands dirty, driving the service rig from godforsaken place to godforsaken place,** then please get in touch. If you're a newbie to rally and want to learn the ins and outs of what it takes to get on the Go line, this is a great way to get up close and personal.
Interested? Get in touch and we'll go from there.
Cheers
*This isn't really true. A six-pack of your favorite beverage will be provided at the end. And boy, after bustin' yer rally beans for three days straight in the hot Maine sun, that beverage is gonna be damn tasty!
**This isn't really true either. It really isn't godforsaken, it's quite gorgeous actually. Think ski country without all that pesky snow.
